Fix My Wi-Fi

Diagnoses your internet connection and repairs the most common faults.

Download the repair tool.
A small text file. You can open it in Notepad to read exactly what it does.

Double-click the downloaded file.
It's usually in your Downloads folder, named FixMyWifi.cmd.

You will see up to two permission boxes.
First a blue "Windows protected your PC" box — click More info, then Run anyway. Then, only if repairs are actually needed, Windows asks "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?" — click Yes.

Both are normal. The connection check itself asks for nothing; permission is only requested when something needs fixing, and you can say No and still get the diagnosis.

Your report opens automatically in your browser, saved to your Desktop as Internet-Repair-Report.html. It shows what was wrong, what was changed, and whether your internet came back.
